3 Advantages of the Boutique Experience:
**** You won't have to take baby out in a public area.****
I ALWAYS encourage parents to book the newborn session when the baby is less than ten days old (to get the full newborn look) and a lot of parents are not comfortable taking their baby to a germ-infested mall or public studio when they are so small. I bring my lights and equipment to your home (or another home/location of your choice). So you won't have to drag a very new baby and all of the outfits and props you want to use to a studio.
*****You won't be rushed.*******
I have had a newborn session take up to 3 hrs because of a fussy baby. If you are in another studio (like Walmart, Sears....) they are just not going to have the time for the baby to settle down because they have other people waiting for appointments. I block out half a day to do newborn sessions so there isn't any rush and we can be sure to get great images of the baby.

The only complaint I've had from my newborn session is the amount of images the parents love. LOL The total ranges from 30-70 proofs, depending on the parents and the baby. Sometimes, if the baby is fussy, you won't get as many, but if the baby is very sleepy you can get tons of great images. I have several cute hats and props I like to use, but encourage parents to pull out anything they are wanting to have the babies picture in. I also love to use stuff around your home as props. Especially in the baby room. This makes it a much more personal experience.
Newborns are more comfortable in their own environment. I know that there are times when he/she just needs a break and I take that into account when I'm at your home during this session. Sometimes they just want to be held, changed or fed. During the newborn session, there is no rush to get that shot before my next client arrives. I am there to work around you and the baby and I stay until we are sure that we completely done. It's a completely relaxed session with no pressure from time restraints.
